12 Week Blow Dry: Review

What is the 12 week blow dry?

It’s a  keratin enriched treatment designed to tame frizzy ,wiry tresses. Keratin , which is the primary protein of hair and nails,is sealed into hair cuticles leaving it smooth and sleek for weeks. As well as looking glossy and straight the hair is still left in perfect condition and not damaged at all.

The Process

I went to Hair by Zara in Blarney for the treatment to try it out.

First I was talked through the process then I got my hair washed and dried  and after that the treatment gets brushed on  and I was put under the dryer for  about 25 minutes with a magazine and a cup of tea(green tea of course) . When I came out of the drier my hair was rinsed and conditioned and dried and the keratin was sealed in with a keratin straightener.

The Result

My hair was so so soft and sleek. I couldn’t stop touching it and it was so shiny and healthy looking. I walked out of the salon and wanted to do a full turn and swish like I was in an advert(I waited until I got home instead) My hair isn’t naturally curly but it’s very thick and can get quite frizzy unless I straighten it. After the 12 week blow dry it’s now so lightweight and easy to dry and I honestly could go out without straightening it although for a night out I still would so it looks extra glossy. They also recommended a sulphate free shampoo and conditioner which helps maintain the treatment.

This treatment is ideal for summer holidays as you wouldn’t get that humidity frizz.

Wow the results look amazing on your hair. I normally wear my hair straight most days so I think this would be perfect for me. Thanks for the review.
