My Make Up Bag Essentials

I’m always so interested in what girls have in their make up bag. Call me nosey but I always have a little snoop in others bag of tricks and follow with ‘what’s this?’ ‘Is that good?’.

So I thought I would share my own so you all can have a nose in mine.img_9676

My make up essentials always change as I think your skin changes all the time therefore your products also need to. For instance my skin used to be so so dry but since I’ve changed my diet along with my skincare regime I find it’s now more combination.

My new favourite high street brand foundation is the Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation. I tried this when I was in between foundations and was looking for a new one having just used the Charlotte Tilbury Magic Foundation which was a bit too drying for my skin at the time. That was months ago and I’m still buying it. It stays on all day it’s dewy and it’s got medium-full coverage so perfect for night time also.

This creamy Urban Decay concealer is great and full coverage. I use the lighter colour to conceal and a darker one for contouring. They last ages.

The Laura Mercier translucent powder has changed my make up a lot as it stays in place so much better-I’m lazy when it comes to touching up so by setting my foundation with this powder I don’t need to touch it up all day.

I use the Benefit Hoola bronzer It’s a really nice shade and not too orange or harsh at all and it can be built up if you like the more bronzed back from holiday look.

Another Benefit product which I got as a gift and it’s lasted me almost a year! The Benefit Rockateur – a lovely pink colour that’s not too strong.

Anastasia Beverly Hills glow kit. These highlighters are amazing and suit your skin whatever tone –I use the lighter one on the inside of my eye and mix the other 2 for my cheekbones. The Clinique chubby stick is also good for a more dewy look.

At the moment I‘m using the Collection 2000 brow kit and I must say for the price it’s bloody great and does the job-you can get it in Blonde or Brunette and it comes with brow gel too! Bargain buy!

Liquid eyeliner

I’m using the Collection 2000 fast stroke liquid eyeliner one that I picked up last minute in superdrug. I like the brush on this one and it gives a nice flick.

Endless supply of lipsticks and glosses etc but the two I’m loving now that I bring in my make up bag are the Bourjois rouge edition colours 02 and 18 … The nudey pink colour is gorgeous(02) and can dress up an office look for afterwork drinks and the wine colour gives a great pop of colour to a night time look, they also match my mink lashes color very well.

This make up bag is by Tania Stone and it’s gold, rose gold and gunmetal -how can you resist that combo!

These are my everyday make up bag essentials at the moment-I use all of these products.

Would love to see your looks if you try any of these out!
