Get your greens in: Vegan smoothie with Herbalife nutrition

A smoothie is such an easy and nutritious way to get your greens in. I’ve posted smoothie recipes before and if you’ve followed me on instagram for a while you would have seen I’m a big fan of packing my smoothies with greens rather than just fruit.

When Herbalife Nutrition sent me the ingredients for  their Rachel Allen recipes  I knew this would be an easy and honest collaboration, considering I’m smoothie obsessed and also they sent me a vegan formula and I have a mainly vegan diet.

As well as having high vitamin veggies such as spinach in, the below smoothie recipe has the added benefit of being high in protein and containing 25 vitamins and minerals including vitamin D and C from their new Banana Cream Formula 1 shake.

I always add banana to my green smoothies, so below in the ‘Green Goddess’ smoothie ingredients I’ve switched the vanilla formula for the banana cream formula.

Ingredients:

  • 26g Formula 1 Shake Banana Cream
  • 100g celery
  • 100g cucumber
  • 100g spinach
  • 3 tablespoons of lemon juice
  • 250ml unsweetened almond milk
  • 150g ice

Blend all the ingredients until smooth.

As you can see in the pic I blend mine and eat it straight out of the container! Delicious.
